Woody's Record Store was born from a simple conviction: great music deserves a second life. We're an independent, UK-based online shop specialising in carefully sourced secondhand vinyl records, CDs, cassettes and music memorabilia - curated for collectors, rediscoverers and anyone who still believes a record sleeve tells half the story.
Every item in our catalogue has passed through our hands. We listen, we inspect, we grade - and only then do we list. No bulk lots, no guesswork. Just honest descriptions and records worth owning.
How We Grade Our Records
Condition matters. We use the widely recognised Goldmine grading scale so you always know exactly what you're buying:
- Mint (M) - Unplayed, perfect in every way.
- Near Mint (NM / M-) - Nearly perfect; minimal signs of handling.
- Very Good Plus (VG+) - Shows some signs of play but plays with only slight imperfections.
- Very Good (VG) - Noticeable surface marks; plays through with some noise.
- Good (G) - Playable but with significant wear - priced accordingly.
We grade conservatively. If we're unsure, we say so.
